Table 5-4. Ethernet Port Status
Field Description
Port Use Shows whether the port is enabled. The field contains one of:
H Disabled – The port is disabled.
H 802.3 – The port uses IEEE 802.3 protocol.
H Version 2 – The port uses Ethernet Version 2 protocol.
IP Address Displays the IP address of the port.
Subnet Mask Displays the subnet mask for the IP address.
Default Gateway
Address Displays the IP address used for IP datagrams not on this subnet.
Ethernet MAC
Address Displays the Media Access Control address of the port.
Frames
Transmitted Displays the number of frames successfully transmitted since the
unit was last powered up, or this field was reset.
Frames Received Displays the number of frames successfully received since the unit
was last powered up, or this field was reset.
Errored Frames Displays the number of frames that were in error since the unit was
last powered up, or this field was reset.
Excessive
Collisions Displays the number of frames for which transmission failed due to
excessive collisions since the unit was last powered up, or this field
was reset.
Carrier Sense
Errors Displays the number of times the carrier sense condition was lost
or never asserted since the unit was last powered up, or this field
was reset.
