7 Commissioning the PV System
Requirements:
☐ The Sunny Multigate must be correctly installed in the distribution box.
☐ The country data set must be configured according to the country or purpose. You can find the
configured country data set on the enclosed supplementary sheet with the default settings.
☐ The AC cable of the utility grid must be correctly connected to the Sunny Multigate. All
conductors must be connected in accordance with the terminal labels. No conductors must be
swapped.
☐ The circuit breaker must be correctly rated.
☐ All inverters must be correctly mounted.
☐ All DC and AC connectors must be firmly plugged in.
☐ The connection areas of all inverters must be dry and sealed rain-tight by means of connectors
and, where applicable, a protective cap.
☐ The unused AC pin connector on the last inverter of the PV system must be sealed with a
protective cap.
☐ The first inverter of the PV system must be correctly connected to the Sunny Multigate via the
AC cable. All conductors must be connected in accordance with the terminal labels. No
conductors must be swapped.
☐ The PV modules must be correctly mounted.
Damage to the Sunny Multigate due to incorrectly connected conductors
If PE and L or N are swapped, the Sunny Multigate could be damaged during commissioning.
• Be sure to observe the terminal labels on the Sunny Multigate.
• All conductors must be connected in accordance with the terminal labels.
• Make sure that all terminals are correctly allocated.
