6.8 Contour elements of a turning
contour
With the "contour elements of a turning contour" you can create the
following:
 In cycle mode
 Complex workpiece blank contours
 Contours for turning
 In smart.Turn
 Complex blank contours and auxiliary blank contours
 Finished part contours and auxiliary contours
Basic elements of a turning contour
Specify the starting point
Enter the coordinates for the starting point and target point in the first
contour element of the turning contour. Entering the starting point is
only possible in the first contour element. In subsequent contour
elements, the starting point results from the previous contour element
in each case.
Press the Contour menu key.
Press the Insert element soft key.
Select the contour element
In smart.Turn, ICP generates a G0.
Parameters for defining the starting point
XS, ZS
Starting point of contour
W Polar starting point of contour (angle)
P Polar starting point of contour (radius)
