Chapter 3 Configuring the NewsBrowse System
For this configuration stage you configure your archive MDI, high-res storage, and
the NewsBrowse server to work together. This assumes that the archive devices are
already installed and connected.
The portion of the NewsBrowse system configured and tested in this stage is
illustrated by the following diagram.
To support archive functionality on a NewsBrowse on the News/K2 system, you must
install a unique NewsFTP on a platform somewhere in the system.
To configure and test the Archive stage, do the following:
