Scheduling events between Scheduler and ScheduALL

The scheduling integration between Aurora Ingest Scheduler and VizuAll, Inc.'s
ScheduALL allows cross-over compatibility between both applications and with
strengths from both programs, users will benefit more for a greater management
solution of transmission operations.

In order to use ScheduALL with Scheduler, ScheduALL configuration is done within

Tools|Options|System

of Aurora Ingest Server. Channel names and router sources that

are used should match respectively for both applications. The integration also allows
ScheduALL to communicate with multiple Aurora Ingest Servers within an operation.
Therefore, each channnel on those Ingest Servers must be configured with unique
names to avoid scheduling conflicts with ScheduALL.

With the scheduling integration, feeds that are set up on the Scheduler will appear on
the ScheduALL interface. While, adding feeds on the ScheduALL will have those
feeds appear directly on the Scheduler. If there is a conflict during the scheduling
process, a dialog box will pop up to alert users of the issue and the status of the feed
will be unconfirmed.

Adding New Events from Scheduler into ScheduALL

With scheduling integration between Scheduler and ScheduALL, you can add events
as you normally would on the Scheduler and have those events appear on the
ScheduALL interface.

The ScheduALL web service must be configured within Aurora Ingest Server before
you can use it with Aurora Ingest Scheduler.

To add a new event:

1. Add an event by clicking the button on the Scheduler toolbar.

The Add Event dialog box appears and fill in the event information as you
normally would.

2. Click

Add

and the event appears on the Scheduler interface.
