1. For the RMI operating mode, you can choose either to have a Standalone RMI or
RMI Client during installation. RMI Client requires Aurora Ingest Server, while
Standalone RMI requires a local database so that it can recognize previously
imported clips and disks.
2. If you are configuring the RMI Client, specify the Aurora Ingest Server.
3. For Standalone RMI, you can enable MediaFrame and specify the MediaFrame
Server.
4. If you want your MediaFrame connection to use the configured web proxy, check
the box for that.
5. You can also specify SDB Server, XMOS Server and Backup SDB Server if you
want to link RMI imports to Aurora Playout placeholders.
6. Under the Connection Mode settings, you can choose to have a database type that
is either News or K2. When selecting News, you can import media into the
NewsShare DSM. While selecting K2, you can import directly into a K2 Summit.
NOTE: RMI that imports directly into the K2 Summit can either be saved
into shared Summit storage or into a single standalone Summit. RMI cannot
