will need to define the destination of the router connected (via digital to analog
converters, if needed) to your video capture card.
17. In the Video Viewer tab, check the 16:9 format video if desired.
18. Select the router destination from the drop-down list. If no router has been
configured, this field will be grayed out.
19. For the Capture Device drop-down list, select
No Capture Device
if you want to
view the asset via a separate video monitor.
20. If you have installed a video capture card, select the device in the capture device
drop-down list.
21. Click
OK
after you are done with the configuration.
The VTR Ingest application is now ready for use.
Setting up K2 Summit for RMI import
These additional steps need to be adhered to in order to ensure RMI import into K2
Summit is successful.
One of the pre-requisites of RMI installation is to install GVG MLib. During the
installation, ensure that you enter the FSM Server Name.
•
If you are importing into the standalone K2 Summit, key in the hostname of the
K2 Summit Production Client.
•
If you are importing into K2 shared storage, key in the K2 SAN server hostname.
If you are importing to a standalone K2 Summit, you will need to do the following
extra steps:
1. Go into the K2 Summit and right-click the media drive to select the
Sharing and
Security
option. The below window will be displayed.
