SNMP Features
Overview
In addition to the standard 8900 module SNMP monitoring reporting, the
8972PX module allows two read/write parameters to manage the input
selection (Input Select) and module mode of operation (Switchback
Strategy) through the SNMP interface. Refer to
Using Additional SNMP
Commands on page 80 for details.
The 8972PX module must be in a GeckoFlex frame with an 8900NET
module running software version 4.2.0 or later, and the MIB (Management
Information Base) version 2.0.0 must be used.
The SNMP interface and its settings for the 8900NET module are described
in the 8900NET Instruction Manual available online at this URL:
