Configuration
Status is reported for each of the following video signals:
•
Primary In – indicates the status of the signal input to the module at the
Primary BNC J9.
•
Secondary In – indicates the status of the signal input to the module at
the Secondary BNC J10.
•
Alternate In – reports the status of the Alternate signal input connected
to BNC J11. (The Alternate input
Reporting
default is
Disable
and must be
enabled on the I/O Config web page).
•
Frame Bus – reports the status of the serial frame bus communication
between the 8972PX and the 8900NET modules.
•
Outputs – signal status is not reported for any video signal outputs for
this module. Outputs will be colored gray to indicate this.
Error Reporting
When the module detects an error, warning messages, such as Signal not
Present or Signal not valid, will appear between the lines below the graphic
as illustrated in
. Informational messages will also
appear in this area.
Module Status
Module status for the front and rear modules are reported in a read-only
section on the right at the bottom of the display.
Front Module Information
Information about the module, such as part number, serial number, hard-
ware revision and software, firmware, and boot versions, and asset tag
number (assigned on the
Slot Config Web Page on page 68
) are given in a
read-only section on the left at the bottom of the display.
