Field Name
Description
Data Port Type
Displays the type of data port. Types are: HSSI, V.35, EIA 530, EIA 530A, and RS-449.
DTR
Displays the HSSI status of the Data Terminal Ready parameter. Only appears if the
DTE interface is HSSI.
Loop type A
Reports the status of Interchange circuit 143 (Loop A). Only appears if the DTE
interface is HSSI. According to the HSSI specification, and absence of A and B means
no loopback is requested. The presence of A and the absence of B means a Local Line
Loopback has been requested (Loop C).
The absence of A and the presence of B means a Remote Line Loopback has been
requested (Loop B). The presence of A and B means a Local Digital Loopback has been
requested (Loop A).
Verilink refers to a Loop A as an Equipment Loopback (IMUX ELB), and Loop B as a
Local Loopback in the QUAD 2164 module applied to all active lines used by the IMUX
2160 modules.
Loop type B
Reports the status of Interchange circuit 144 (Loop B). Only appears if the DTE
interface is HSSI.
AIS Pattern
Displays the status of the Alarm Indication Signal (AIS) pattern. Valid options are
Disabled, ALL ONES, ALL ZEROS.
Loopback
Shows which loopback (if any) is active. Valid options are NONE, ELB, and PLB.
Lines Equipped
Shows the status of each of the lines configured for use by the selected IMUX 2160
module.
Lines Active
Shows which lines are in use by the selected IMUX 2160 module. The IMUX 2160
module will use a line that has been “equipped” only if Frame Sync and Clear To Send
signals are active.
Frame Status
Shows that the selected IMUX 2160 module has recognized and synchronized with
the IMUX frame structure on the incoming (RX) signal on these lines.
CTS Status
Shows that the selected IMUX 2160 module has received via IMUX Frame signalling
bits, confirmation of frame detection and synchronization by the far-end IMUX 2160
module on these lines.
CRC Status
Shows that a Cyclic Redundancy Check error was detected in one or more of a group
of five IMUX frames on these lines.
Far CRC Status
Shows that a Cyclic Redundancy Check error was detected by the far-end IMUX 2160
