CAUTION Never configure any SLIP IP address or SLIP Subnet
mask in any QUAD 2164 module. The product does not support
SLIP. No physical interface on the module can be used for SLIP.
Certain errors which might be made while configuring SLIP
parameters will render the module inoperative and require factory
repair. The SLIP commands have been removed in version 4.31
QUAD 2164 firmware.
