value of 0. To enable a condition, specify any non-zero

threshold value. The interval must be greater than or equal

to the threshold value.

Description

Options

Pn

Alarm Reporting: Enabling alarm reporting conveys any messages

indicating alarms for each port. These alarms are declared to both the

Craft interface as well as Node Manager (if used). If this option is set to

No, even if alarm reports for individual ports are requested, they cannot

be reported. The LEDs turn amber or red in an alarm condition. Set this

option to No when configuring the node. Set to Yes during normal

operation.

Yes or No

(Y/N)

Fn

Loss-of-Frame (LOF) Threshold/LOF Interval: Use this option to indicate a

monitoring interval that is greater than the errored-second threshold for

Loss-of-Frame errors.

Threshold:

1—86400

0 to disable

Interval:

3—86400

seconds

Ln

Loss-of-Signal (LOS) Threshold/LOS Interval: Use this option to indicate a

monitoring interval that is greater than the threshold.

If LOS occurs, troubleshoot this situation first and ignore all other

alarms. (There will be other alarms.) This is the most severe alarm.

Threshold:

1—86400

0 to disable

Interval:

3—86400

seconds
