Receive Clock from Shelf: Use this option to indicate the DIDCSU

receives its timing signal from another card in the shelf, or from an on-

board timing source.

Note: Changing this option toggles between the shelf timing and

card timing menus.

Primary Synchronization: Choose one of the following as your primary

source for clock synchronization.

• Net 1: T1 Port 1

• Net 2: T1 Port 2

• External: External clock

• Internal: Internal clock

• Data 1: Data Port 1 TT input signal

• Data 2: Data Port 2 TT input signal

Secondary Synchronization: Use this option to specify an alternate

source of timing for synchronization. If the primary source is

unavailable, this source is used.

Tertiary Synchronization: Use this option to specify an alternate source

of timing for synchronization. If the primary and secondary source are

unavailable, this source is used.

• Data 2: Data Port 2 TT input signal

Primary Auto Restore: Select Yes to resynchronize to the clock source

automatically if a previously failed clock source becomes available

again. Otherwise, choose No. Setting up auto restore returns timing to a

higher priority source after a failure clears.
