13. In the T1 Port Configuration Menu, type the letter “

number “1”, press E NTER , then type “Y”,and press E NTER , to
place Net Port 1 In Service. Type “

2”, press E NTER , then
respond by pressing “Y”, E NTER , to place Net Port 2 In Service.
NOTE: For the remainder of this section you will not be instructed
each time you should press the E NTER key. In general, E NTER is
used after each command or text entry.
Select ESF Framing 14. Type “F1”, and “2” for ESF framing for Net Port 1. Type “F2”
and “2” for ESF framing for Net Port 2.
Select B8ZS Line
Coding
15. Type “L1”, then “2” to select B8ZS as the line coding for Net
Port 1. Type “L2”, then “2” to select B8ZS as the line coding for
Net Port 2.
Set Line Build Out
to 0db
16. Type “B1”, then “1” to select 0db as the line build out for Net
Port 1. Type “B2”, then “1” to select 0db as the line build out
for Net Port 2.
Set Density

17. Type “ND1”, then “1” to select NONE as the network density
for Net Port 1. Type “ND2”, then “1” to select NONE as the
network density for Net Port 2.
