Important:
If the sensor cover is
made of aluminium, the refractome-
ter sensor can cause ignition if it hits
other metal parts during the instal-
lation. An aluminium sensor cover
must have a sticker warning about
this possibility.
10.5.2 Intrisincally safe mounting
Choose the mounting location of the sensor, the isolator/barrier unit and the indi-
cating transmitter so that they are protected from sudden impact and friction. If
any of the system parts is affected by a sudden impact, power it off immediately
and have it checked by trained K-Patents service personnel before it is used again.
