Cash Flow Network (CFN) system is controlled by the use of specially
encoded cards called Club Cards or Private-issue Cards. This manual provides instructions for
the following:
• Compiling the information to be encoded onto the cards
• Completing the card encoding form to encode your own cards, or have the cards encoded
by Gasboy
• Embossing the cards
When you begin to use this manual, the following processes should be complete:
• With your input, a configuration order form should be filled out. You may not actually fill
out this form as it may be prepared by your distributor or your Gasboy representative. This
form lists the following information regarding your system:
- Pumps
- Information that appears on your transaction printout
- Commands and who can execute them
- General information about your system
- Digits that will appear on your cards and the order of appearance
- Working of the card reader program, and so on
• Your Gasboy representative will provide you with the following forms that will be
attached to this manual:
- Card Layout - It is based on the decision that you take on the configuration order form. It
shows the manner in which your cards should be laid out.
- Card Encoding Form - It lists the fields and field sizes as noted on your card layout, and
contains blank lines where you can define the card data. As this form is customized with
your own personal card fields, make a photocopy of it before you begin and retain the
original.
Now you are ready to learn how to define your data for encoding.
and
describe the card fields and card formats for
magnetic cards. Depending on your card type, follow the instructions in
for magnetic cards.
