4.4.3 Redundancy Menu
Redundancy is available when two units are used to ensure reliable service in the event of a failure or loss
of signal. The units are configured in Primary/Backup roles and communicate between each other via
cable connected to each unit’s redundant port.
Other Unit’s IP Address
Enter the IP address of the unit to be used in conjunction with this unit for redundant functionality.
Mode
Select the mode of this receiver (Primary, Backup, Disabled).
Note CMR Redundancy does not automatically configure the backup unit when changing the primary or
vice versa. Each unit must be independently configured when changes are required.
