1 Configure these parameters for the SDM-2020 Mod/Demod remote control interfaces:
EIA-485: 4-wire
Rate: 19200 Baud
Format: 7 Data Bits, Even Parity, 2 Stop Bits ( 7-E-2 )
Note: These values are the default settings for the SDM-2020
Utility/System
menu, REMOTE BAUD RATE/PARITY settings.
Mod
Remote Address: Positions 1 through 8, set Addresses 1 through 8,
with the Redundant Modulator at Address 9
Demod
Remote Address: Positions 1 through 8, set Addresses 11 through 18,
with the Redundant Demodulator at Address 19
The switch is now ready for the next procedure, Applying Power to the Switch.
