ATTRIB +r myfile.dat

Adds the Read Only attribute to the file

myfile.dat.

ATTRIB -a -r *.dat

Removes the Read Only attribute and the Archive attribute of all files
with the DAT extension.

ATTRIB *.dat

Displays the attributes of all files with the DAT extension.
