CONFIG.SYS
Purpose
A device driver may be installed into ROM-DOS via the DEVICE
command.
Syntax
DEVICE = device_driver arguments
Remarks
A device driver allows ROM-DOS to access hardware that is not
common in all PC's.
The full drive path and file name of the device must be specified. The
arguments are different depending on the device driver.
Examples
DEVICE=C\BIN\VDISK.SYS 120 /e
Installs the ROM-DOS RAM disk driver, VDISK.SYS, via the DEVICE
command. There are 120K bytes of extended memory dedicated to the
RAM disk in this example.
