Creating a Profile
The default profile does not have an SSID or security settings. It can only connect to an access
point that broadcasts its SSID and is not secured. Use the instructions in this section to create a
new profile without scanning for a network. The Profile screen also allows you to edit or delete
existing profiles.
1. From the main SCU window, tap Admin Login and enter the password. The default
password is
SUMMIT
. Tap OK.
2. Tap the Profile tab.
3. Tap New and enter a name for your profile. When you are finished, tap OK.
4. Tap Commit to save the profile name, then tap OK in the confirmation pop-up screen.
5. Enter the SSID and select the authentication and encryption, along with any necessary
credentials. Tap Commit to save your settings, then tap OK in the confirmation pop-up
screen.
6. Enter any other settings required by your network administrator.
Note: You must tap Commit to save your settings.
