Connecting the Power and the Network Cables

To connect the network cables:
1.
To be able to operate the NQMS and REST commands via the

LAN/WAN, connect one end of a network cable to the Ethernet port
located at the back of your unit. Connect the other end of the cable to
the network itself.

2. If you need a local access to the unit, connect one end of a network

cable to the Ethernet port located at the front of your unit. Leave the
other end of the cable free for future connections with a portable
computer.

To connect the power to AC power supplies:
1.
Connect the cords to the main power inlets located at the back of the

unit.

2. Connect the other end of the cords to the power sources.

As soon as the initialization sequence is complete (power LED is blinking
green), you are ready to turn on the unit (see Turning On or Off the Unit on
page 48).
