Red Critical hardware error detected. You can look in
the Host Web UI for more information
(see Viewing System Status on page 290).

The fan could be defective.
Replace the fan (see Replacing the Fan on
page 249).

The temperature of the room where the unit
is located, is critically too low or too high.
Ensure that the temperature falls within the
specified operating temperature range
(see Electrical Safety Information on
page 19).
Once the problem is solved, refresh the
LEDs status (see Refreshing the Status of the
LEDs on page 293).
If the problem persists, contact EXFO.
Red, blinking Critical software error detected.

Consult the Event log to find the cause of the
problem and try to solve it (see Viewing the
Event Log on page 233).

