Responder Setup
Note: Not available when both EXFO Device (see Peer Device on page 26) and
Responder (see Call Mode on page 26) are selected.
From the Main Menu, tap SIP and the Responder Setup tab.
Responder Parameters
User Name is the name of the Responder, which is used for the SIP
URL associated with the Responder. A maximum of 50 characters are
allowed.
Domain Name is the DNS name used as the host portion of the
Responder’s SIP URL. A maximum of 60 characters are allowed.
Signaling Port is the signaling port of the Responder: 1000 to 65535
(default is 5060).
Media Mode defines the flow direction of the RTP packets (media).
Send and Receive (default) specifies that the RTP packets flows in
both directions. For example, if Controller is set in Send and
receive media mode then it will send RTP Packets to Responder
and also it will receive the RTP packets from Responder.
Receive Only specifies that the RTP packets flows only in one
direction, i.e. from Responder to Controller.
