Data Setup
Background
This menu item allows you to indicate if you want to show an existing background or turn this menu item off. If Show
is selected, you must select the name of an existing background from a pick list. The pick list files can be created a
head of time using the Guidance or the Mapper mode. All files ending in .gmf can be used as the background file.
To change the Background File setting; highlight the Background menu item and press . The Background dialog
box will appear. Select the desired setting using the arrow keys , once the desired setting is selected, press
to return back to the Data setup menu, see Figure 4 -18.

Setting Description
Show Shows an existing Background file (.GMF) in the background of the real-time
map view.
Off No .GMF file will be used in the real-time portion of Nav 2 Point.
