Preparations

2 Select the frequency band to be adjusted.

• Select the equalizer curve with the closest pattern to the curve to be

created.

• When the

FLAT

key is pressed, a curve can be created from a flat

condition.

Properties of frequency bands

3 Adjust the level of the frequency band.

To increase level

Low
frequency bands
63-160 Hz

Musical instruments in the low bands
sound with stable feeling.

Medium

frequency bands
400 Hz~2.5kHz

The vocal of singers seem to come to the
front or go to the deep depending on the
level adjustment.

High
frequency bands
6.3 kHz

When the level is increased, the sounds
of violin, flute, etc., become brighter.

Ultra-high
frequency bands
16 kHz

The triangle, cymbal, etc. sounds brighter
and the sound become more delicate.

■ If there is another frequency band to be adjusted, repeat steps 2 and

3 for that band.

Storing the desired tone in memory

Preset the user-created equalizer curve.

"MEMORY" lights.

• Perform step ® while the

MEMORY

indicator is blinking.

• The user-created equalizer curve is preset under the pressed num­

ber as one of the

MANUAL

patterns.

• If an equalizer curve has already been preset under the pressed key,

it will be replaced by the new equalizer curve.

To clear the equalizer curve created and stored by the user

Select the MANUAL patterns with the

R/M

key and hold the key

under which the curve to be cleared has been stored. It will be cleared
and the equalizer curve originally preset in the unit will be recalled.

Presence effects

Various modes for reproducing the effects of pres­
ence are availabie. Select the mode according to the

piayed source or the component in your system.
