Recording CD while listening to another source

Use the following procedure to listen to another input source
while recording CD onto tape.
I Load a cassette tape in the deck B.
• Select the tape transport direction (◄
or ►).
I Select
(two-side recording) or
(one-side recording).
» Select the Dolby NR mode.
> Select the "CD" input with the
MAIN
INPUT
key.
» Insert a disc in the CD player.

To cancel CD REC.
» The CD REC cannot be cancelled while the REC indicator is lighting
or blinking.
» After the CD REC operation, be sure to press the
CD REC
key to
cancel it.

In the CD REC operation, the equalizer and DSP presence effects cannot be recorded together with the CD sound.
The tune interrupted at the end of tape side A is faded out and
side B starts with fading in from the middle of that tune. The
