You will now be prompted to enter the name of the destination.'
If you are replacing an existing name with a new one, the old
name will appem in the display. Press the CLEAR key to erase
the old name.
Use the numeric keypad to enter the name (up to 15
characters).
SET
Press the SET key.
You will now be prompted to use the cursor keys to select the
type of number. There are four options.
FAX - Choose this option if the destination number is a fax
machine.
TEL - Choose this option if the destination number is a
telephone.
F/T - Choose this option if the destination number has both a
fax and a telephone on one line.
CHAIN - Choose this option if you arc registering a number
for chain dialing.

The default setting is FAX. If you wish to change this, press a
cursor key, otherwise press the SET key to continue.
T Y P E : T E L
As soon as you press a cursor key, the display will stop
alternating, and only the sclction line will be displayed.

Make your selection with the cursor keys.
Press the SET key.
S P E E D - D I A L ? # _
The display will change to SPEED-DIAL? #_.
If you wish to assign another speed-dial number, enter the
two-digit short code. Otherwise press the STOP key to exit.
