Removing the Chassis Cover
2E43-51/2E43-51R User’s Guide C-3
To remove the chassis cover, proceed as follows:
1. Disconnect the 2E43-51 from the network as follows:
a. For the 2E43-51, unplug the power cord from the rear of the
chassis. For the 2E43-51R, unplug both power cords from the rear
of the chassis.
b. Disconnect all network cables attached to the 2E43-51.
CAUTION: THIS UNIT MAY HAVE MORE THAN ONE POWER
SUPPLY CORD. DISCONNECT TWO POWER SUPPLY
CORDS BEFORE SERVICING TO AVOID ELECTRIC SHOCK.

NETZANSCHLUß. TRENNEN SIE VOR
WARTUNGSARBEITEN DIE 2 NET ZANSCHLÜSSE VOM
NETZ, UM ELEKTRISCHE SCHLÄGE ZU VERMEIDEN.
ATTENTION: CET APPAREIL COMPORTE PLUS D’UN
CORDON D’ALIMENTATION. RAFIN DE PREVENIR LES
CHOCS ELECTRIQUES, DEGRANCHER LES DEUX
CORDONS D’ALIMENTATION AVANT DE FAIRE LE
DEPANNAGE.
TURN OFF THE 2E43-51 BY UNPLUGGING THE POWER
CORD FROM THE REAR OF THE CHASSIS.
AM HINTEN DES 2E43-51 STECHEI ABZIEHEN UM AUS ZU
SCHALTEN.
APAGUE EL 2E43-51 DESENCHUFE EL CABLE DE LA
UNIDAD.
TIP
Before performing step b, mark the cables connected to the
2E43-51 according to their associated port numbers. This is
recommended for ease of reinstallation.
