Troubleshooting
Error Indicators
The following table shows the meaning of error indicators of this machine, and
how to fix the errors.
: ON
b: Blinking
 : OFF
Note
❒ When the indicators show a status that is not listed the above table (or in the
table under “Front indicators” ⇒ p.16 ), turn off the power of this machine,
and then back on. If the indicators still show the same status, note the status
of the indicators and contact your service representative.
Error description Solution

The ADF or ADF cover is
not fully closed. Close the ADF or ADF
cover.

An original is jammed in
the ADF. Removed the jammed
original.

An original was not out-
put properly from the
ADF. Remove the paper that
was not output properly.
