Programming an ATAS ID for Remote Operation
An ATAS ID helps to protect you from unauthorized persons accessing your unit and retrieving your messages.
The
ATAS ID number has been preset to 111 at the factory.
However, you may choose another ATAS ID from within the
following ranges;
Single digit 1 t o 9
Doubie digit 11
to 99
Triple digit
111 to 999
■ Refer to NOTE below.
Be sure the SP-PHONE indicator is off while programming.
Example:
ATAS ID is 123.

•The PROGRAM indicator will light.
•This display will appear.
•To ensure proper operation, we
recommend you use a different ATAS
ID number from a FAX remote ID
number.

Press then press “10”.

ATAS ID=111

Example:
ATAS ID is 123.
Enter the desired ATAS ID,
then press
SET
to store your selection.

NOTE:
You cannot use codes which contain zero (0) as this will cause the unit to skip the OGM.
We recommend that
you do not use seven (7) as a code number, since this number is used as the OGM re-recording command for remote
operations.
