RX SPEED

The RX (Receiving) SPEED setting;
The unit can automatically establish the optimum receiving speed depending on the line condition and other
facsimile machines transmission speed.
9600 BPS: The maximum speed is 9600 Bit Per Second (Default).
If you experience problems frequently (e.g. The received document quality is wrong or
Terminated telephone line during receiving mode.) caused by poor line condition, set to “4800
BPS".
4800 BPS: The maximum speed is 4800 Bit Per Second.
NOTE:
If 4800 BPS is set when you do not have the problems, receiving speed is slower than when 9600 BPS is set.

Press then press “18".
18.RX SPEED=9600BPS
[1,9600 2.4800]
Example:
Changing to “4800 BPS”.
Press
“2”,
then press
SET.
