Password Communications
Password communications is activated with the MAIN PASSWORD {refer to page 1-53).
However, you may change or cancel the password temporarily by using MENU button (XMT RESERVATION,
DELAYED XMT, and XMT & POLL) when “SEND PASSWORD” or “TX PASSWORD CHECK" is set to ON.
This feature is useful when you need to transmit a document to a station which has a different password or no password
programmed.
Example:
Using XMT RESERVATION

Insert a document FACE DOWN.

a phone
number.
XMT RESERVATION
ENTER PHONE NUMBER
SET
Press
SET.
PASSWORD=MAIN [* =MAIN

To use the main

To cancel the
password
temporarily.
To change the
password
