PASSWORD COMMUNICATIONS
This feature is effective only between Panasonic compatible machines.
Password communications helps you to transmit a document to the specific station. It will also be helpful in preventing
your unit receiving from unauthorized station.
When password communications is used, the identical main password {a 4-digit number) must be programmed on
both sides of the line. The unit checks the password either before transmitting or receiving a document.
The KX-F220 has two password communications functions. They are TX (transmission) password check mode and
RX (receiving) password check mode.
TX Password Check:
This function checks the password before transmitting a document. If the password sent from the other KX-F220 does
not match with the one programmed in your KX-F220, transmission will be prohlbitted.
