You can connect the Spider to your network with a standard RJ-45
network cable. Cables of various lengths are available from most
electronics and computer retailers.
NOTE: Do not use the red crossover cable supplied by ADS to
connect to the LAN.
Once the Spider is connected to the LAN, you can connect to it from
any computer on your network, as described in Local Connection in
Appendix B: Connecting to the ADS Spider on page 85.
NOTE: You should also disable the EASY CONNECT network setting
on the Spider, as described in Setting up Network Parameters on
page 48.
