the APN, and other details concerning the services activated for the
account (voice, text, data, etc.). APN information will be provided only
for accounts that support GPRS (wireless data) traffic. Accounts that
only support text messaging and voice services will not include APN
information. Following are examples of APNs and supporting
functionality:

Functionality: Private Dynamic IP Addressing
Comments: This is the most common APN used for
wireless data services. It only allows the Spider to
forward information to email and FTP sites. It does not
support Remote Access to the Spider.
i2gold
Provider: AT&T
Functionality: Public Static IP Addressing
Comments: This APN supports Web access to the
Spider over the Internet. It assigns a unique Public IP
address to the SIM card and allows users to browse to
the Spider (after it receives a text message to enter
Remote Access mode). Users first must order a SIM card
with text (and voice, when necessary) messaging
capability and then submit a request to AT&T to add the
i2gold APN account.
Internet2.voicestream.com or (possibly) epc.tmobile.com
Provider: T-Mobile
Functionality: Private IP Addressing
Comments: This APN only allows the Spider to forward
information to email and FTP sites. It does not support
Remote Access to the Spider.
