Connect to the Spider as described in Appendix B: Connecting to the
ADS Spider on page 85. A successful log-on will automatically
display the Alarms screen.
To communicate with the Spider from a remote location, set up Web
access as described in Appendix D: Remote Access Configuration
and Quick Start Guide on page 91.
Alarms
Current alarm states are displayed automatically following a
successful log-on. The same screen can be displayed at any time by
clicking
“
ALARMS
”
on the black menu pane on the left.
All alarms are identified by their user-programmed names.
The display shows the state of all alarms at the time the page was
displayed. The page automatically updates every 10 seconds.
Active alarms provide additional information about the progress of the
alarm sequence by displaying a numerical code. Please refer to Text
Messaging Alarms on page 65 for the key to the codes.
