Servo hatch Cover Installation

Required parts

Fuselage assembly Servo hatch cover
2.5mm x 8mm washer-head self-tapping screw (4)

Required Tools and Adhesives

Thin CA

Phillips screwdriver: #1

1. Route the servo leads for the ailerons and

flaps outside the fuselage as shown.

2. Use a #1 Phillips screwdriver to thread a 2.5mm x

8mm washer-head self-tapping screw into each of the

holes to cut threads in the surrounding wood. Remove

the screw before moving to the next step.

3. Apply 2–3 drops of thin CA in each of the holes

to harden the surrounding wood. This will harden

the threads so the screws do not easily strip the

surrounding wood.

4. Install the servo cover using four 2.5mm x

8mm washer-head self-tapping screws and a

#1 Phillips screwdriver.
