File Name
, choose an icon then click OK .
The name allows you to save the settings for future sessions and the icon represent the
connection. You can put the icon on your desktop for easy access.
The Connect To properties tab appears (Windows 98) or the Phone Number window appears
(Windows 95)
3. From the
Connect Using
field drop-down list, select
Direct to COM1
(or preferred COM port) then click
OK
. COM1 will be used for the
rest of this procedure.
The COM1 Properties box appears for
Port Settings
