2.2.1 Adding A Communications Port and Controllers
Clicking on the Add Port button will bring up the dialog shown in Figure 2-4 .

If communicating to the XTC/3 Controller via RS-232, select the port to which the
serial cable is connected. After selecting the correct port, click the Add button. If
communicating to the XTC/3 Controller via Ethernet, select the Ethernet port and
press Add. The System Properties dialog and will now display the added ports as
shown in
Figure 2-5 .
