If there is
no reading
from the
fuel sender,
remove the
fuel sender
unit from
the tank,
ground it to
the vehicle
with a clip
lead and
move it by
hand to
verify that
the
voltage
reading on
the red lead
changes.
The voltage
on the red
lead should
range from
0V to 5V.
