CTIVATION OF THE EMERGENCY DESCENT FROM THE GROUND WITH MANUAL PUMP IF ALL
ENERGY SYSTEMS SHOULD BREAK DOWN
This emergency descent is only actuated if the electric plant and machine engines break down.
A case in which it is not possible to perform one of the previous emergency manoeuvres.
The emergency descent from the ground can only be actuated using the manual hydraulic pump .
To obtain basket movement, pump oil manually and simultaneously use the ground controls rela‑
tive to arm movement.
To perform the emergency descent in the conditions stated above, operate as follows:
‑ Withdraw the proportional valve adjustment knob from the elec‑
tric components compartment and introduce it into the relevant
adjustment screw (see photo), in the proportional valves compart‑
ment.
‑ Shift the diverter positioned on the manual pump to the position
relative to the movement of the aerial part;
‑ Screw the knob completely;
‑ Take the key opening the distributor controls’ protection, if any,
from the keys group inside the electrical components compart‑
ment;
‑ Insert the key and open the distributor controls’ protection, if any,
to access the controls.
The only scope for which the emergency descent from the ground is allowed is to com‑
pensate for a breakdown of the plants and to bring the basket to the ground, all other use
is prohibited.
During this manoeuvre it is prohibited to make manoeuvres different to those stated above
such as extend the telescopic arm or the jib, move the outriggers and generally all manoeu‑
vres that could make the machine loose stability.
