6.5.2 M ANOEUVRE OF THE MACHINE FROM THE EMERGENCY POSITION ON THE GROUND IN THE CASE
OF SUDDEN INDISPOSITION OF THE OPERATOR

This type of manoeuvre is only actuated if the operator in the cage should fall ill with conse‑
quent impossibility to perform ordinary movements and the emergency descent of the
basket
For controls relative to the control panel in the emergency position, refer to paragraph Emer‑
gency position controls
‑ Withdraw the key enabling the emergency descent and a key
opening the distributor controls’ protection, if any, from the
engine keys group inside the electrical components compart‑
ment.
‑ Insert the key and open the distributor controls’ protection, if
any, to access the controls.
‑ Insert the enabling key in the emergency position control
panel.
‑ Start the engine using the relevant button.
‑ Rotate the key selector in a clockwise direction and keep it in position
‑ Check that the green indicator light on the emergency position control panel is on, i.e.
that the conditions are present to be able to move the aerial part.
‑ Move the aerial part of the machine using the manual levers positioned on the distri‑
butor on the ground according to that stated on the sticker near to them and according
to that stated in in this manual.
‑ Reclose the protection and put both the keys away in their original positions.

The only scope for which the emergency descent from the ground is allowed is to com‑
pensate for a breakdown of the plants and to bring the basket to the ground, all other
use is prohibited.
