23. Refit the insulation block and trim a small pocket in the insulation to locate the connecting
block (as shown in yellow dashed box in image below).
24. Refit the rear access panel using the 8 x Pozidriv head screws with washers and refit the
Access Port Plug.
25. Fit the new porous cover supplied to the CO
2
Sensor by sliding it over the brass measuring
body until it touches the back wall of the chamber.
NOTE: It may be difficult to push on so use the palm of the hand to push back.
26. Close the rear equipment tray and refit the 2 x large Pozidriv head screws.

To complete the installation the new CO
2
Factors must be entered as follows
1. Power up the Incubator and program the CO
2
level to 0.0%.
2. Enter the ENGINEERING MENU by pressing the up º and down » arrow keys
simultaneously.
3. Enter the CO2 rEF. screen in the Engineering Menu and enter the Factor provided by using
the º and » keys then press
to store the change. Press to exit back to the Engineering
Menu.
4. Navigate up through the ENGINEERING Menu using the º key to the CO2 SP.N screen.
5. Enter the CO2 SP.N screen, then enter the Span Factor provided in exactly the same way as
entering the Ref Factor.
6. Exit the screen by pressing
and exit the Engineering Menu by pressing
to return to the
root screen.
7. Humidify incubator.
8. Allow chamber environment to homogenize at 37 deg C set point. Typically 8 hours.
9. Program CO
2
at 5 %.
10. Allow CO
2
to stabilize.
11. Perform Auto-Zero cycle.
12. Perform calibration procedure.
