The keyboard on your Macintosh PowerBook computer works in much the
same way as the keyboards on other computers and on electric typewriters.
However, there are a few special keys you should know about. Many of these
keys allow you to give commands to the computer without using the trackpad.
For example, in many application programs, you can press the x (Command)
key at the same time as the Q key to quit a program.
The illustration on the following page explains the function of all the special
keys on the keyboard of your Macintosh PowerBook computer.
