Note:
A worksheet to record serial numbers and any other information for the ATI 9700 is included at
the end of this document. Refer to the ATI 9700 Inventory Form.

Note the flanges, which are attached so that the shelf is front-mounted.
•
For center-mount, configurations, rack channel standoffs are required. These must be installed onto the
rack prior to installing the chassis.
•
For front-mount or center-mount configurations in 23” racks, rack panel adapters (pair) are required.
These must be installed onto the rack prior to installing the chassis.
3.
Locate the mounting position for the system in the telecom rack.
4.
Install a mounting screw (supplied) on each side of the rack. These two screws are temporary and will be used
to hold the weight of the chassis while it is being installed. Do not tighten these two screws. Leave enough
space for the chassis mounting plates to rest on. Screw locations are illustrated in
.
To be safely installed, the ATI 9700 chassis requires two craft persons.
