interface ethernet
The interface ethernet Global Configuration mode command enters the interface configuration mode to configure
an Ethernet type interface.
Syntax
interface ethernet interface
Parameters

interface — Valid Ethernet port. (Full syntax: unit/port)

This command has no default configuration.

Example
The following example enables configuring Ethernet port 5/g18.
interface range ethernet
The interface range ethernet Global Configuration mode command configures multiple Ethernet type interfaces
at the same time.
Syntax
interface range ethernet {port-list | all}
Parameters
•
port-list — List of valid ports. Where more than one port is listed, separate nonconsecutive ports with a
comma and no spaces, use a hyphen to designate a range of ports and group a list separated by commas in
brackets.
• all — All Ethernet ports.
