Making Alert Calls
1.
Press the
PTT/Side Key to display the PTT Contact
List.

From the Home screen, select
MENU
➔
Contacts
➔
PTT Contact List.

Press the Right Soft Key
Options
➔
Temp PTT Group.
3.
Press
ADD to select PTT Contacts.
4.
Press the Left Soft Key
Alert, then the
PTT/
Side Key to send an alert to the group. If a recipient
answers the call, “Connected to” displays on your phone’s
screen.
5.
Press and hold the
PTT/Side Key, and begin talking.
“Talking to” displays on your phone screen.
6.
Release the
PTT/Side Key to listen.
7.
Press the
End/Power Key to end the call.
Answering Push-to-Talk Calls
When you receive a PTT call, your phone plays a tone or vibrates
to alert you to the call, and the caller’s number or name (if the
number is stored as a contact) displays on the screen.
Tip: PTT calls are automatically connected when the phone is closed. Press
the PTT/Side Key to initiate talking.
To end a call, press and hold the Speakerphone Key.
Answering Barge Calls
In a “barge” call, the caller presses the PTT key on their phone to
establish a call, and can immediately begin talking.
1.
A tone plays, then the caller will proceed with the call.
“Connected to” displays on your phone’s screen, then
“Listening to” while the caller is talking.
2.
Press the
End/Power Key to end the call.
