Options While Playing a Song
There are various options and controls available while a song is
playing.
Songs screen
1.
From the Home screen, touch
Applications
➔
Music Player. The Songs screen appears in the
display.
Note: Music Player searches your device’s internal storage for music and
playlists. This can take from a few seconds to several minutes,
depending on the amount of new music added since you last launched
Music Player.

Touch Songs, Playlists, Albums, Artists, Genres, Folders,
Composers, or Years to change the way you view the
contents of your music library.

Touch an album or song.

Touch
Search to find a song by title, artist name, or
album title.

Touch
Add to playlist to add the selected song to a
new or existing playlist. (For more information, refer to
“Creating a Playlist” on page 60 or to “Adding Songs to
Playlists” on page 60.)

Touch
Menu to display the following options:
• Delete: Touch the box for any song or album you want to delete or
touch the box for Select all to select every song or album. A check
mark
indicates the song or album is to be deleted. Touch
Delete to delete the selected items, then touch Done.
• Share via: Share the current song by using AllShare, Bluetooth,
Gmail, or Email.
• Set as alarm tone: Use the current song and as an alarm tone.
• Settings: The following settings display:

Sound settings: Choose Equalizer and Sound effects settings, and
enable or disable 5.1 Channel Mode for stereo sound.

Music menu: Choose which music file options appear in the Music
Player screen (Albums, Artists, Genres, Folders, Composers, and/
or Years).

In the Songs screen, touch the center of the Music Player
thumbnail to enlarge it to fill the display.

Touch
Info to list details about the current song.

Touch
Music List to show the current song in a list
with other songs.
4.
Touch
Menu to display the following options:
• Add to playlist: Add the current song to an existing or new Playlist.
• Via Bluetooth: Share the current song over a Bluetooth connection.
