1
When the specified volume type (primary or secondary) in VolType is different from the actual volume type, the spreadsheet
ends normally but the pair will not be split.
2
When the pair status is either Pending, Duplex, or Suspend, and if Group is specified for Range, all of the pairs in the
same mirror will be split. If a pair in the same mirror is in Suspend status, an error occurs. An error also occurs if you
specify multiple Universal Replicator for Mainframe pairs in the same spreadsheet.
3
This setting is available only when the data volume in the local storage system is the copy source (that is, primary site).
If the data volume in the local storage system is the copy target (that is, secondary site), specify Disable.
4
To Purge, specify Group for Range.
Save time by using the pair information to write the parameters of the SuspendPair tag. For details
see
“Pair Tag Parameters and Contents” (page 208)
Resynchronizing Pairs (ResumePair Tag)
You can resynchronize the pair in Suspend status by using the ResumePair tag. Perform the CLI by
using the spreadsheet with the ResumePair tag from the primary site. The table below shows the
items and detailed information for the ResumePair tag settings.
